Oh yes, Daniel, Oscar is very much alive. When pets cross over, they are in the care of someone you loved who is there or some other person who loves pets. When you cross over, Oscar will be one of the first to greet you. There is no doubt that all of your pets you love are still very much alive and you'll be reunited with them.

They also can communicate with people in thoughts. You will be able to communicate directly with Oscar.
