I have 8 dogs and 1 cat. They are getting on in years. One of them has a very bad heart. I don't know how I'm going to cope losing her. The worst part is I worry if she is going to suffer when she goes. I was getting ready to put her down about 3 months ago but my husband stopped me. It was a good thing. She has responded well to medication and seems to be enjoying life so far. Looking forward to her meals, sitting on the back patio, even chasing some ground hogs and running with the other dogs. You can tell that she does not have the energy she used to and if she stresses out she starts coughing. She is on 4 medications twice a day. I have lost other loved ones as well (too many in the past 2 years) and I'm getting really depressed. Is there some quick way I can learn to communicate with my loved ones on the other side? I try meditating but nothing happens or I just fall asleep.
