Hi Claudia,

I’m sorry I didn’t see this post because another string had started.

Two friends had the same experience recently and I wonder if even though we were only 2-3 months pregnant, the babies had a soul.

Claudia, the eternal person is always alive, without beginning and without end. That person goes through experiences using a body, but is always apart from the body. We’re involved with the body we’re going to be using before conception even takes place because we know about it and sometimes have even chosen the parents. But not always.

When the self starts to use the body to learn lessons isn’t really important. It isn’t that the eternal self somehow combines with the body at some point. It never combines with the body. It simply uses the body and obeys the rules of the physical realm to learn lessons. We become so wrapped up in the story we’re living in the physical realm that we come to think it’s all a real, permanent, concrete world. But it isn’t. As the Hindus say, it’s Maya, an illusion.

We know that some eternal selves that have been stillborn do continue the growth process in one of the next planes of life. They “grow up” there. And I understand that some fetuses who weren’t born also grow up on the next plane of life. But the self that they are can’t be harmed. If they don’t come onto the Earth plane in one body, they’ll just come in another, often to the same mother.

In other words, don’t worry about the self that doesn’t live a full life on the Earth plane. This person is fine and alive, either growing up on the next plane of life or incarnating to use another body. Your dream of your father lets you know more about your children.

You wrote,
One night I dreamt my daddy (he lives in the afterlife) and he came with two boys, they were like teenagers and he said they were my kids and they were taking care of my son, but they were older than him, my son was born on 1994 and I lost the first two babies on 2006. My daddy told me his names, but I don't recall them. It was a vivid dream and I had always thought about it.

Then that is what is happening with your babies. Don’t doubt that. Accept the message that you were given. They’re doing fine and are growing up in the next plane of life. They’ll be there to greet you when you cross over.

I feel confused, why did I have that dream?

Many things that were planned don’t happen in the physical realm. We have free will, and that means the physical realm also has its own character as well. You may still have that child, or she may grow up on the next plane of life, or some other thing might happen that we simply don’t know about. Just know that the eternal self who would have used that body is fine and alive. I don’t believe that everything that happens has purpose. I believe that some things just happen. But in the end, everything that happens works out for the good of our eternal selves. Meantime, it’s of no use to worry or get tied up in knots trying to figure out what every even means. We should just love and live, knowing in the end we’re eternal beings, one with the Higher Power, and never separated from those we love.

Love and peace, Craig
