I forgot to add something. I was raised a Calvinist, which is a specific belief within Christianity, it's not a very popular one, but it does have "biblical" support. (Mostly from Paul.) It states that all men are predestined to ether go to heaven or hell, it's already been decided by God, and that God is good and just in doing this.

WHAT THE **** KIND OF SICK PERSON WOULD BELIEVE AND WORSHIP A GOD LIKE THAT? Calvinism is what started me looking for something more. There are two alternative views.

Armenianism, which states that men can choose whether to go to heaven, or be burned/annihilated.

The problem with this is, Christianity doesn't make sense in the first place. So anyone who is rational, not gullible, and generally tries to believe truth, won't accept Christianity unless they have a very emotional reason for doing so.

The third is Universalism, it's the least common of the three, and the least objectionable, it states that believers in this life are the "first-fruits" of everybody who will believe in the afterlife. This view isn't too bad at all, but it forces one to see God in the light of the Bible, which I believe is a very primitive view of God.

But anyway, I'm not sure why I wrote all that, just for other people out there having trouble. I don't have any problem with the idea of future punishment, ether in the after-life, or through reincarnation, what I strongly object to is the idea of someone being beyond redemption.
