I get what you're saying. But if you don't mind, let me followup with a question I recently posed to an esoteric group whose goals are essentially the same as yours:

"What if you're wildly successful? What if every single person on this planet comes to realize their infinite, eternal nature. What then? What would life be like? What is there left to do? Would there be an further need for an Earth, or incarnating here?"

(This is what I was referring to in the beginning of my last post, the part about "taking the wind out of humanity's sails".)

The idea that I'm playing with is that Earth is useful *precisely* because of all the trouble we have here -- that we are great environment in which to learn. And that being human is pretty damn awesome, even with all our many flaws. (I've taken quite a liking to Rousseau-style romanticism.)

This would seem to jibe with the many lessons of those who teach that we incarnate here to learn and evolve, no? If we as a species eventually become "perfect", what's left to do here?
