Why can’t we discuss the afterlife without religion? What does religion have to do with the afterlife? Why religion has such a hold on people’s minds? Does it really matter who Jesus really was or by what name he was called? How can a man who lived long ago, if he did live, be responsible for anyone’s “Salvation;” and salvation from what?

The other day I watched a program where a scientist said that there is no place for Ghost in science. I think one of the reasons scientists refuse to look into the afterlife as a subject of science is that the majority of people in the world, including scientists, equate the afterlife with religion.

I think religion in general is the greatest stumbling block that keeps the afterlife buried into ignorance, buried from scientific understanding, and buried from the reach for most of us until we pass on. And even after we pass on, many still continue to reject it.
