Much is said about us, humans, in this life existence and in the hereafter. Little is said about the animals. I find life in this plane of existence extremely cruel to animal life. I see the animals as individual intelligences in their paths of progression, and wonder why they have to be so enslaved, treated with so much disrespect and cruelty; raised mostly to please humans? Even in the animal kingdom, Mother Nature shows to be extremely harsh and cruel. I wonder why so much cruelty in this stupid world of ours?

Well, you mentioned in another post that: “The Earth plane in which we're participating now is a crucible. It has in it good and bad, bliss and suffering, making personal attachments and losing attachments. There are cruel people and loving compassionate people. We have sickness, physical pain, and worry, as well as bliss and happiness. This is a plane on which we can learn lessons because of its challenges. But we chose to be here. We weren't put onto this stage against our will.” “Nothing makes us into something we don't want to be or makes us do something we don't want to do. We are what we want to be; we are where we want to be.”

Well, is it possible that we, as well as animals, are here because we were not well evolved mentally to make the right choice, and therefore, were pushed into this existence by some misfortune or against our will? Who, in the right mind would choose to incarnate in such a degraded, bloody world, if supposedly there are myriads of much better existences to live?
