You asked about techniques for self-guided afterlife connection. What the Web site says is it "enables anyone to have afterlife connection with a deceased loved one." That doesn't mean someone can do it alone, by themselves. It does mean that if someone sits with a facilitator trained to facilitate the Guided Afterlife Connection, he or she will have a connection.

It isn't that we wouldn't like to have everyone learn how to do it. I'd love to write a book that taught everyone how to make their own connection, and maybe in the future that will be possible. For right now, the procedure requires that a facilitator follow a very rigid protocol. It also requires that we screen out people who have suppressed issues, especially with the deceased. The bilateral stimulation can open up those issues and perhaps do some harm. We don't know how to teach people how to self-administer, and until we can safeguard the protocol so people who shouldn't be doing it on themselves have a safer way to do it, we just can't teach people how to self-administer. That's just going too fast in a direction we know nothing about.
