Hi Lisa,

You asked, "Do our souls have a specific gender? If we keep our personalities upon passing is our soul gender specific in the hereafter?"

Instead of "soul," use "self." "Soul" has all kinds of religious connotations. The person you are is who lives eternally, along with your higher self, which is you with your background of all the lives and experiences you've had.

When we first transition off of the Earth plane, we remain who we are now, including our gender reference. Our loved ones see us with a body on that plane just like the body on the Earth plane. Remember that the Earth plane is just a spiritual plane. The next spiritual plane will be just like this, without the negatives. And we will have the body we most like being, which is usually a person in his or her late twenties or early thirties. We'll be the same gender we are here.

But the higher self has no gender. In past lives, we have been male and female. When we mature on the next plane of life, we'll be able to remember those other selves. But who we are now, with our loved ones, remains just as we are now on the Earth plane. We can have dinner together, go to plays or concerts, take long walks through the countryside, build things together, garden and grow flowers together, and just sit around and relax and talk about all the things that happened on the Earth plane.

We'll be the same gender, with the same bodies, but healthy, whole, young, and vibrant. And we'll stay there as long as we want in eternity.

Love and peace, Craig
